The stories of Pukwudgies come from a few different North American Tribes. These include the Algonquian, Chippewa, Wampanoag, Albenak, and Mohican. Pukwudgies are little creatures no bigger than 2 to 3 feet and found in the Great lake or New England regions. They are often described as looking like a mixture of a
porcupine, troll, and human. These little creatures can appear and disappear at will, as well as shapeshift into smaller animals.
Pukwudgies are mischievous creatures that like to cause problems for humans. If you annoy one, you can expect nasty tricks to be played on you. They will follow you and make sure to cause as many problems until they are satisfied. However, this was not always the case. Pukewudies used to be friendly with humans until Maushop, a Native American god, started paying more attention to humans. This made them very jealous and would start harassing and even killing humans. Maushop got tired of this and scattered them throughout North America. This upset them even more, causing them to kill all of Maushops ‘sons and have a vendetta against humans forever.
If you encounter one of these creatures, be very careful, for they are not only mischievous. They carry bows, knives, and sand to through in your eyes. The arrows they use for their bows are poisonous and can kill you extremely fast. Along with weapons, they are known to use magic and like to lure humans to cliffs to push them off. Suppose this was not enough, they also like to kidnap humans to kill.
With all this in mind, if you find yourself in a forest and see something that looks like a little human, stay far away. Your life could depend on it.
